A trade offer was accepted and then quickly vetoed (by vote of owners) in our league today. The trade was Prince Fielder for Fernando Rodney.
The guy who would be giving up Prince is swearing the deal "makes sense for his team" because he has no closers after Mo got hurt, and because LaHair is raking. I pretty much called him stupid and a fantasy nerd fight broke out. A few owners then said that if he really wanted to do it, then they would relent and let it happen if the trade is re-proposed.
I'm torn. On the one hand, the trade was apparently made in good faith. On the other hand, it is still objectively ridiculous. When this deal is re-accepted, do you think I should vote against it again or let it go through?
