Still trying for a 2B Upgrade

You wanna trade who for who? Wow, that's awful/great/horrendous/beautiful/really terrible?

Still trying for a 2B Upgrade

Postby Dingbat » Wed Apr 29, 2009 8:51 am

How's this sound:

I give: Matt Cain & Rickie Weeks
I get: Dustin Pedroia

My strengths: Hits, Wins, Saves, Ks, K/BB, QS
My weaknesses: Runs (last place), HRs, SBs

His strengths: Runs, Hits, AVG, OPS
His Weaknesses: HRs, RBIs, Ws, Ks, ERA, WHIP, K/BB, QS

Does this trade look like fair value, and does it help my team? I recognize that losing Weeks won't help me gain ground in HRs and SBs, but I mostly need help with Runs, and Pedroia seems like the best available option for that. Plus, I get a feeling that now would be a good time to sell high on Cain, before more of his fly balls start leaving the park.

Thanks, and it's good to have the site back!

That trade looks solid for your team. I would not do it if it were me.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
