I was offered ARod for my Lester. I need an OF so I consider this trade and then moving either AROD or Sandoval to a team in need of a 3B. The ARod owner has sent me about 9 proposals for Lester. Big Silly Sox fan.

I'd keep Lester unless he can wow you with a trade. I prefer to trade directly to fill a gap. Make him give you a stud OF or tell him no deal. Your pitching is good, but not super deep.

That being said, ARod will be a huge upgrade over Kipnis or Johnson. OF may not be the biggest hole you have to fill.

You have Lind for IF, so that isn't bad.

1. If they guy wants Lester, make him over pay, not get a fair deal that might backfire on you.

2. Trade deals that force you to trade again are not usually good ideas. Put Lester on the block for an OF and see what you can get.
