Ok, so I've been in a league with 12-15 other dudes for about 15 years now. We use a draft to select players. Last year, we decided that the "randomizer" that CBS sports uses wasn't reliable since the same two guys had the number one pick 7 of the last 9 years. We changed our constitution to award the picks in reverse order of standings. We lost a couple of franchises who would have received the #1 and #2 picks. The guy who now has the number one pick is upset and wants to trade down. I have the #4 pick.
So, my question is... is there any benefit in a 12 team league to having the #1 pick over the #4 pick? I truthfully have no preference. I've won this league twice...once drafting with the last pick and once in the middle. If you think having the #1 pick is more advantageous, I'd be willing to swap spots with this guy.
Thoughts?
