Rollins trade

Postby ProjectBadass » Wed Apr 15, 2009 3:10 am

Would you trade Jimmy Rollins for Stephan Drew and Matt Cain? Its a H2H 6x6 (OPS & IP) 12-team league. I need SP help and SP have a little more value in this league because of the IP category with no limit on the amount of games you can start each week.

Here is my team:
C- Ryan Doumit
1B- Joey Votto
2B- Robinson Cano
3B- Aramis Ramirez
SS- Jimmy Rollins
2B/SS- Yunel Escobar
1B/3B - Jorge Cantu
OFx5- Carlos Lee,Corey Hart, Shin-Soo Choo, Hideki Matsui, Shane Victorino
UTIL- Kendry Morales
Bench- Delmon Young
Bench- Asdrubal Cabrera
DL- Alex Rodriguez

SP- Josh Beckett, Javier Vazquez, Johnny Cueto, Jered Weaver, Jeremy Guthrie, Jon Garland, David Price, Bronson Arroyo, Koji Uehara, Jamie Moyer
RP- Francisco Cordero, Heath Bell, Leo Nunez, Hideki Okajima, Hong-Chih Kuo
DL- Joey Devine
DL- Jeremy Bonderman

I think you should take that trade. Drew and Cain both have a lot of upside while Rollins has already hit his ceiling for production. In 5x5 I would say the value here is relatively even but as you alluded to since IP counts it makes it a lot more appealing.

The trade's good for you.
Grey Albright

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
