Keeper League Trade for Aramis

Postby JR. » Thu Jun 12, 2008 8:08 am

Well, I did my classic, "package the prospects to the guy in last" thing. In a 14-team keeper league:

I send: Soria (15th round), Price (22), and Headley (22)

I get: Aramis (3)

What say you?

Yes, but this could blow up in your face much like a trade last year of Braun and Gallardo to be in exchange for Saito. Price is the prize there, but I'd do it if you're looking to win this year.

I'm all about winning in the current year in keeper leagues. So many people get caught up in the keeper three year philosophy that they're doomed year to year. I say if you're looking to win this year, go for it.
14 team h2h keeper (keep 5), $101 FAAB budget. C,1B,2B,SS,3B,MI,CI,U,5SP,2RP... It's standard 5x5, but we use quality starts instead of wins. I currently have $1 left in FAAB money.

We only keep 5 players, so I could still keep: Hanley (3), Upton (17), Krispie (18), Carmona (19), Zumaya (22).
