another classic offer:

i give arod, hamilton, cano and oliver perez and i get holliday $16, ibanez $19, ludwick $4 and ramirez $4.

why would i give up the best 2 players? simply amazing, but not surprising. these are the offers that people send all the time, and actually think are fair.

hey grey,

what were your thoughts on that last offer?

i was thinking if i got sizemore $16 instead of holliday it may not be so bad for me.

So what? Arod, hamilton, cano and oliver perez for sizemore $16, ibanez $19, ludwick $4 and ramirez $4? It's not great for you.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

hows about this one:

i give arod $58 and werth $4/span $4 and i get longoria $10 and soriano $53 or vlad $55. this team also has pedroia $7, and i didnt know if i should work him into the deal for cano $13.

do you think longoria and a one year rental of vlad or soriano is good enough for arod?

I think Soriano and Longoria for Arod is completely fair. Yeah, I'd do that trade.

what about arod 58 and ian stewart 7 or maybin 7 for longoria 10 and soriano 53? i'm not big on the maybin deal, but i guess if it got me longoria i think i'd still be happy. sorry once again, really got the baseball itch.

Not as crazy about these two options. It's fair, just not that great.

one more deal:

i give arod $58 and cano $13 and i get beltran $38, ichiro $43 and scherzer $7.

no way i keep ichiro next year, so he's a one year rental, so i'm basically doing this for beltran and scherzer. it all depends on expectations of scherzer. if i can rely on scherzer as a 4th SP i will be in good shape. i already have sabathia, lackey and hamels as 3 of my 4 SP.

trading cano leaves me without a 2B, but i can trade for derosa, kelly johnson possibly, maybe teahan, or try to win on fontenot.

your thoughts?

I don't like this trade for Arod.

would you like it better if i took out cano and added oliver perez? this is probably the best deal i can get for arod. i've tried all other teams in my league and i can't get a player like beltran for him. the deal would fill my roster out. i would just hate to lose arod next year without getting anything back. next year i probably wont be able to keep him.

i could try rios $16, kinsler $13 and beckett $38 for arod $58, cano $13 and perez $7 maybe. this owner probably won't do that deal though. he's hard to deal with.
