I need a starting pitcher that I can use to walk away with the money this year. Step by Step, what's the absolute best I can ask for in return for Braun as far as NL Only pitchers?

Webb, J. Santana or Peavy. Just be aware of Peavy's lingering 'bow issues.

I agree with Grey. If you are trading an elite hitter you need to go after not just an elite pitcher, but the best of the best. Even then, I wouldn't do it.

I can understand the reluctance to trade him, but the only reason I can afford to do it is because my offense couldn't possibly get any better. I could afford to improve my batting average and steals, but I traded for Winn, Pierre and Helton to take care of that over the past two weeks. My biggest need is pitching, where a top tier starter could mean the difference between winning by 20 points or winning by 10.

I'm just in a league with my best friend who is in 2nd place. Running up the score is preferred.
