I’m currently in a keeper league, this is the second year. The salary cap is $62,000,000. This is also a return yardage league. There is no limit on our keepers. 16 team league. 6 points for all TD, 25 passing yards per point, 10 rushing/receiving yards per point, 20 return yards per point. Below is a list of my current roster and their salaries for 2010. I have 2 spots to fill for our auction coming up this summer. I have $7,335,000 available to spend. Salaries increase by 30% if kept. Also, we can only keep players for 3 years (this is the 2nd year for all my players).
QB – Aaron Rodgers - $10,725,000
WR – Andre Johnson - $10,400,000
WR – Chad Ocho Cinco - $7,150,000
WR – Kenny Britt - $3,900,000
RB – Justin Forsett - $1,950,000
RB – Jamaal Charles - $5,200,000
TE – Brent Celek - $2,600,000
W/R – LeSean McCoy - $4,550,000
Q/W/R/T – Jerome Harrison - $1,300,000
BEN – Donald Brown - $2,600,000
K – Garrett Hartley - $1,300,000
DEF – Cincinnati - $2,340,000
The minimum bid per position is:
QB - $3,000,000
WR - $2,250,000
RB - $2,500,000
TE - $3,000,000
K - $1,500,000 (only 1 per team)
DEF - $3,000,000
Basically my strategy going into the auction is spend $2,250,000 on a flier WR and $5,085,000 on a QB.
FA QB (based on your rankings) are:
Kolb, McNabb, Henne, Bradford, Orton, Favre, Hasselbeck, Campbell, Garrard, Edwards, Delhomme, Leftwich. Ideally, I would like Henne. I believe Kolb and McNabb will go for more than I can afford.
Another idea I have is to make a move for a QB. I know an owner has made available Romo ($10,075,000)/Flacco ($7,150,000), and he could use an upgrade at any position. See anything I can offer that makes sense?
