So I was talking position scarcity with Hank, and for all my mock football drafts leading up to this year I'm drafting only RB/WR until my bench spots are full. In the following ESPN 10 person mock draft that worked out to the first 12 rounds were limited to only running backs or wide receivers. Here are the results...
Rd. 1—Chris Johnson--prolly should be LT Rd. 2—Steve Slaton Rd. 3—Marshawn Lynch Rd. 4—Dwayne Bowe Rd. 5—Antonio Bryant Rd. 6—DeSean Jackson Rd. 7—Knowshon Moreno Rd. 8—Chris Wells Rd. 9—Michael Crabtree Rd. 10—Jerricho Cotchery--Had the choice between #1 Jets WR option or #3 Arizona WR Steve Breaston Rd. 11—Ted Ginn Jr. Rd. 12—LeSean McCoy--Mostly liked the idea of a DeLeSean Philly handcuff, still doesn't make up for not getting all three first round running backs.
Here we go... Rd. 13—Matt Hasselbeck--ugh, missed Trent Edwards by five picks. So I ended up with the 19th QB taken, 'passed' over Delhomme, Bulger, persons from Cleveland, Flacco, Campbell, Pennington, Hill, JaMarcus Russell, Bulger, Collins. Rd. 14—Tony Scheffler--pretty sweet, I would have been happy with Martellus Bennett. Rd. 15—Texans Rd. 16—Ryan Succop
Done and Done Thoughts? Where is the best place for mock drafts?
