Is anyone interested in a fantasy football virgins league? I've only played in one season, but I might be convinced to do it again if there are enough people who read Razzball and want to play in a fantasy football league for their first or second time.

Thoughts?

This would be a free league, of course, and I'd be happy to be the commissioner of this league if we can spread the word about it and get enough players.

I'm with Steve. Baseball's way too time consuming to consider football. Gotta know when to say when.

Yeah, I suppose it's not for everyone. But if my past experience is an indicator of time spent on fantasy football, it works like this...

1) Iowa studies fantasy football sites for 15 minutes prior to draft.
2) He then shows up for a draft that takes like 45 minutes after having studied fantasy football sites for 15 minutes.
3) Next he sets his lineup on Thursday, because for some reason, some football games are played on Thursday.
4) The following Thursday for 5 minutes he adds hot player to take place of injured player or bye week.
5) Repeat steps 3-4

Anyway, it's not for everyone for sure, but there's got to be 12 or so dudes who read Razzball who have only a passing interest in football. This is to say, they're interested when the Bears make the playoffs and they don't want to look like an ass in front of the in-laws who live in Omaha and watch 6 hours of football on Sunday (the day after watching 6 hours of Nebraska football games on Saturday).

Yeah, agreed. But I'm worried that if I watch one single game of football, I'll get compulsive about my team and start watching every game and studying my team.
