I am picking 4th in a 10 team .5 ppr league. QB TDs are worth 6 points. I expect the first 3 of Foster, Rice, Rodgers and McCoy to be drafted and I will take whoever of those players is left. Any advise on what players/positions to target with my 2nd and 3rd picks?

First round, if all 3 RBs are gone I'd go Calvin, personally. Second round would prefer an RB. 3rd round would probably be another WR as I assume most worthy RB2s that early in the draft would be gone. I'd be aiming for a QB from the Romo/Eli/Rivers/Ryan pack.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
If you want me to give you a back rub, you're probably SOL. Sorry about that.

I don't think Calvin is worth picking ahead of Rodgers. Looking at Rodgers last year, he was over 170 points better than Rivers and over 200 points better than the 10th best QB (Sanchez).

Johnson was 113 points better than the 10 best WR (V. Jackson) and the next 6 WRs were within an additional 15 points.

I try not to base too much off of one season on how I view the next season. Rivers had his worst year as a pro since probably his rookie year. QBs are pretty deep this year, would rather have skill players from my first few rounds because of that if I can help it.

10 man league, no matter pts per TD, I would not sniff a QB until round 5+

I'd grab Rice or McCoy @ 4 in that order. Foster will be gone and if all three of these guys are gone, I would go with Calvin Johnson. I know it is only .5 per reception but dude is a beast and will be better this year.

Just do not make the 10 man mistake of thinking you need a stud QB. I mean Rodgers gets 6 pts per TD, but so does Matty Ryan and Jay Cutler, right?

My rank

#4- Rice, McCoy, Calvin
#17- AJ Green or Julio if you got a RB with #4, Demarco Murray or SJAX of you got Calvin
#24- Best RB/WR on the board

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the advice/insight. I will hope that one of the top 3 RBs is there at #4. I've gotten burned the last three years by waiting on a QB so that probably feeds into my reluctance to pass on Rodgers.

Understandable. Personally targeting Matt Ryan this year and have been talking about him since May. Of course, now everywhere I read over the last two weeks his cover is finally getting blown but I'm going after Romo/Rivers/Eli/Ryan this year.
