our commish made lots of tweaks to the scoring this year (see below) and unsure how it will pan out. Given how he's applied it equally to all positions, I almost feel like it's a wash. But, I think the biggest room for bonuses lies with Passing Completions, and with running backs who both carry and catch.
If you buy into the completions argument (and the bonuses) I feel like Brees might be the best overall player.
Also, if I take a QB first, that has big implications for my options at picks 24, 25, 48, and 49. That long delay almost makes me want to trade away my first pick!
Any advice appreciated. Thanks

In Yahoo, prior to the specific league draft, you can click on the Players list and populate by 2011 previous year scoring. This scoring is reflective of the current league settings.
This is a good barometer to compare rankings vs production. For instance, in my 16 team ppr idp draft there was a scoring that favored punt return yards. Spoles was the #2 overall scorer, including Qbs. Hence he was my second rd pick. Joshua Cribbs was the 18 ranked WR/ RB and I selected him in round 14.
Will all the scoring categories and different strategies, this simple check is helpful in finding these funky trends.

anybody got an opinion on whether I should certainly take a QB due to the points for completions, and, if so, whether Rodgers Brady or Breese? The latter had so many more completions that last year they both would have outscored Rodgers under this system.
San Fran dude, I don't see that NFL.com will do what you're suggesting, but, thanks.
