I play in a competitive 12 team, 2 QB league... Obviously with two starting QB's, pretty much every starting QB is on a team at all times. In fact, currently Kerry Collins, Curtis Painter, and Luke McCown are the only QB's with any significant yardage (if you can call 234 passing yards significant) on the FA.
Except for Mark Sanchez, who was just dropped.
I hate Mark Sanchez. I hate USC. I hate the Jets. But Tony Romo is on a bye week and though I have the luxury of three QB's, I'm considering Sanchez being a better play than my backup Alex Smith this week.
If you look past Sanchez's absolutely atrocious game this past Sunday, he's been fairly productive: two TD's in each previous start and 300+ passing yards in two of the three games. He's also facing the Patriots, whose defense has been pretty bad, especially against the pass. If I did this I'd likely not drop Smith so that I can keep him and drop Sanchez after the week has passed.
What do y'all think?
