I guess it depends on whether you'd have to reach to get any of those backups, but if they were available in the same round/same price I don't know why you'd ever want vince young over guys like stafford, bradford or flacco.

I guess this is a handcuff fantasy question. Vince young has little value except if vick was injured. However if he was he would be in the same system and same weapons. I am thinking like hill and Stafford last year. is it better to take a top 15 overall projected quarterback or the handcuffs if you draft michael vick

If Stafford or another good backup aren't available when you want to draft your backup QB I'd go with Young. Young has a ton of upside in that offense, but I'd feel safer with Stafford as my backup.
