I’ve got a possible preseason trade question for anyone out there in Razzball land. It’s a small 8 team (0.5 PPR) league. All other scoring is the usual Yahoo scoring with partial points and some game yardage bonuses here and there. QBs are generally the best players overall, but not by much. And RBs and WRs are relatively close, with the edge going to the RBs. QB TDs are 4 points, all others are 6 points. Here’s my lineup from last season with just the pertinent players, keep in mind, I can keep 2 players not of the same position:

QB: Rivers
WR: White
WR: Wayne
WR: Colston
RB: CJ
RB: McCoy
TE: Daniels
W/R: McFadden
BN: Hillis
BN: Mike Williams – TB
BN: Felix Jones
BN: VJax
BN: Stewart

We keep 2, can’t be the same position. Our keepers are just the first two rounds of the draft. There's no other keeper implications. And we also do preseason trades where you can trade players and picks.

I might be getting offered Vick for CJ and I would also get his 3rd or 4th round pick and then give him my 6th or 7th round pick. I say I might because the guy with Vick is a close friend and he mentioned trying to deal Vick for a top RB and I said I might be interested if the price was right. Is this something I should be entertaining? I’m a little worried that CJ’s production will drop off a bit, and if I could get McCoy, Run DMC and some others, I would be ok. If I should do a deal like this, who would I keep? As an aside, I have to keep Vick if I traded for him unless I then turned around and dealt him.

why take vick if you already have rivers?

I think the idea is it is an 8 team league so go big risk big reward for the best players
