Reaching for Welker

Postby rightwingjedi » Thu Aug 26, 2010 6:24 pm

So far in my PPR

Gore
Wayne
Colston

Welker is there for the picking @ 4.4 for me. Something is telling me to grab him rather than SS NY or a TE.

Big reach?

Welker's uside in PPR is in the 2nd round so 4th isn't insane.

Had another good game tonight. You have to worry about a reinjury, but as it is he should be playing week 1.

Well, Welker got drafted late last night, and I thought I got Colston but he was taken right before me.

So far....

Gore
Wayne
Smith NY

Here is who is left

Romo
Benson
Rivers
Clark
Boldin
Beanie
Crabtree
Moreno
Addai
Nix
Felix
Ochocinco

Finley just went so I think it is going to start a run at TE.

So my league does not count INT's, and like you said Doc, that gives big ups for Cutler, problem is, Cutler is only about 18 spots down on the ADP ranker with Masters, so I am worried he is going to go after my 4.4 picks and not be there at my 6.4 pick. That is even earlier than I want to get a QB but you know how drats go with QB's sometimes.

There is NO WAY I am grabbing Cutler now so I will have to wait and see. I could always just grab Stafford late. I mean I think he can easily have 25 TD's, and WTH cares about the picks, they do not count.

I like Benson for stability and Beanie for upside.
