First Mockeroo

Postby beantownmp » Tue Aug 17, 2010 9:03 pm

12 team 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST, 5 RES

4th pick. I treated it as a PPR like my real league is. Other than that my real league has 3 WR. I have 4th pick in that league as well. Here's how I ended up. Didn't get a backup QB and somehow loaded up on RB's. In a .5PPR how does this team look? Numbers are Round-Overall Pick

Manning, Eli QB 7-76
Moreno, Knowshon RB DEN 5-52
Rice, Ray RB BAL 1-4
Fitzgerald, Larry WR ARI 3-28
Wayne, Reggie WR IND 2-21
Gates, Antonio TE SD 4-45
Hightower, Tim RB ARI 6-69
Vinatieri, Adam K IND 13-148
Chargers DST 14-165
Brown, Donald RB IND 11-124
McGahee, Willis RB BAL 10-117
Slaton, Steve RB HOU 9-100
Cotchery, Jerricho WR NYJ 8-9
Royal, Eddie WR DEN 12-141
10 Team 5x5 7 Keepers 1500IP Max
Inglorious Batturs
Fielder, Longoria, Kemp, J.Upton, Wainwright, Kershaw, & (Werth or Jeter)

Looks a little too good to be true with your WRs and how far they fell.

Bench seems a little bluh, but not horrid.

I think before picking Hightower you could have gone for a different QB. Manning will put up numbers I just like some others upside.
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.

I was quite surprised to snag those 2 like that in rounds 2 + 3 but I'll take it. I know for a fact the kid picking 3rd in my 12 team .5ppr QB 2RB 3WR RB/WR TE K DST is taking Rodgers with his first pick so I'll have to make the big decision between Rice & MJD. Which would you go in only a .5ppr? Also its the first year of a 2 player lifetime keeper league.

Also Kolb was available when I took Eli. I guess I coulda gone with his upside. After looking at this team it needs some upside.

I would go Rice. Like his long term upside and could see him helping your team the next few years.
