What do you think of this idea - instead of drafting a single defense for the entire season (in the second to last round, of course), would it maybe make more sense to pick a new defense every week from waivers, based on who is playing the worst offensive team possible? I know it might be tough to tell who's good offensively and who's not to begin the season, but maybe after week 5 or so, you can dump your draft-day defense and start picking and choosing based on matchups?

Just by the way, I got this idea when I was looking at the "Packers" line in my D/ST slot, seeing the @PHI icon, and seeing the 37-34 scoreboard in my mind, and then looking at waivers and seeing that the Cards are playing the Rams week 1.

I'm always streaming defenses, but you can't always rely on that. I try to own the best defense I can and stream when it works out. Often you can end up with a solid every week D from waivers as well.

So wait, do you keep the defense you drafted on your roster and then spend another roster spot on streaming? Cause I assume if I draft a top-10 defense and then drop it for streaming purposes, someone else will pick it up immediately. Basically, if I stream in a 12-team league, I assume that I will always be playing a defense outside of the top-11...

I start with the concept of streaming every year, aiming to exploit matchups throughout the season. I keep my fingers crossed that one of the teams that drafted a good defense will drop them when their bye week comes up. I also try to spot trends, hoping to get a diamond in the rough. It's the Cardinals in week 1 for me. I'm hoping they can Ram It.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
