I know you guys at razzball are really high on Charles for this year and I tend to agree. I'm drafting 12th in my 12 team ppr league and I want to get a RB and WR at the first turn. I'm thinking my best RB options will be JC, Mendenhall, and McCoy. Would you advise taking JC over the other 2 guys who seem to have safer starting jobs? Or should I take 2 WRs instead (I'm assuming AJ and Moss will be gone for sure)?

I really like JC in PPR, but I also think Mendy is going to see a lot of dump offs. I'd go Mendy by a nose right now.

Ok, cool. Would you say McCoy is in the same range as the other two guys or is he a significant downgrade? His 4.1 ypc last year and the offensive line don't inspire confidence...

I see him as risky, but I high upside risk in ppr. In non ppr he falls quite a bit. He's a tier below those guys in ppr, but not that far.

Draft coming up this afternoon, so doing some final soul searching. In a 12-team ppr league, would you be comfortable with a starting backfield of Charles and Best? It would cost me the 13th and 31st overall picks (I've got the last spot in the order) and I'd be able to get at least 1 elite WR at 12th overall. If you can, please let me know in the next 6-7 hours! Thanks a bunch!

It's a bit risky, but the upside in PPR is huge. I'd go for it, but I'd be inclined to grab a few more extra RBs than usual in the later rounds as well.
