So some of the owners in my Yahoo h2h league with weekly changes are advocating allowing either daily changes or a limited number of daily changes (I think the person who is spearheading it might just be busy on Sundays, to his detriment, so he wants to be able to make changes later in the week).
I have a couple of Qs I'd like resolved before I place my vote.
First, has anyone else played in a weekly h2h with limited in-week changes, and if so, has it been any more fun, or as I presume, unduly complex?
Do ESPN or Yahoo support such a structure?
Other owners in my league think that such a change would yield crazy draft strategies, such as drafting all offense and streaming mediocre matchup pitchers... my gut tells me this is wrong (because it rarely succeeds in simple roto), but am I missing something?
Anyhow, I'd really appreciate any advice. Having just returned from a difficult oral argument, my mind does not appear willing to analyze this issue.
Thanks.
Limited number of daily changes? I don't think ESPN and Yahoo even support that. They might support limited number of weekly changes. Not sure... I don't like weekly changes vs. daily changes, because I hate waking up on Monday and seeing my hitter's out for a three days. But if I'm going to do weekly, H2H is the way to do it to avoid streaming which can really make H2H unfair. Unfair in your favor if you want to take the time to stream because you can manipulate it. I'd still prefer daily...
