Kosuke Fukudome.

In other words: OVERRATED but not completely crappy waiver-wire replacement level fodder.

So a step up from a Futility Player and two steps up from a Schmohawk and not quite yawnstipating? They wouldn't really be overrated, more like Unrated because no one cares. You are ambivalent or you are renting to own as known as Leasing. But none of these things are remotely funny to me. I think ambivalence can be funny when coupled with the 80s boy band, New Edition -- How about calling these guys, "Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike?"

"I'm looking to shore up my utility spot because since Big Papi went down I've been juggling between Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike."

So what do others think?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

How about...

Nattie Lights - Watered down talents that are better than nothing and can be had on the cheap - e.g, V-Mart is out and all the top-shelf catchers are gone. I'm going to pick up a Nattie Light like Jesus Flores and hope it gets me drunk...

I like that.

What's on the wire?
Six cold Nattie Lights, best one being Jose Guillen.

I guess I should've been more clear.

Randy Winn-san should only refer to Fukudome. It's a way of deflating his hype with the realization that he's just another Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, or Mike, as you so eloquently put it (though Bobby went on to an Albert Belle kind of career, ya gotta admit).

Personally, Winn resonates with me because I'm a Giants fan (as the handle makes clear).

But other, similar decent average, little power, a bit of speed-type players could be used...again, to describe Fukudome.

David DeJesus-san
Andre Ethier-san
Brian Giles-san

Fuck, it was funnier in my mind. And with Randy Winn.

Kudos for the New Edition reference.
