p0rk burn: verb. To screw yourself royally as a result of "brilliant" managing. See illustration.

"I sure p0rk burned myself last night when Uggla and Murphy hit those grand slams."

Ouch, that hurts.

"My eyes, my eyes"

Please don't subject me to that bench anymore p0rk. May be a precursor of things to come.

Posada is definitely messing up the feng shui of that image. I left him in there because thats my entire offensive bench, felt like cheating to take him out.

I feel your pain. In the last week, I have left on the bench:
Hawpe: 2-run HR
Hawpe: Grand slam
Posada: 2-4 incl a HR
Doumit: 2 HR game yesterday.

Pork burned indeed.

Steve-d perhaps?

Wow, that's awful.

Who did you play instead of them?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I think I probably had Bruce in the Util spot for Hawpe both times. For the first home run he hit off the diabled list, I was away from a computer and didn't actually know he had been activated, so didn't feel so bad about that. As for his grand slam, I think I mentioned, Grey, that I put him in my line up then swapped him out for Bruce just before game time because I was in need of steals. Turns out it wouldn't have made any differnce to my match-up as I ended up winning HRs and RBIs anyway.
When Posada was benched I started Doumit and then vice versa yesterday.
Yesterday's sparkling piece of decision-making could yet bite me on the arse as my opponent this week has Corey Hart...

I don't want to say who I had instead of Uggla and Murphy, you'll make fun of me.

Lets just say Anal Fissures were involved. I was hoping for a steal. Murphy was sitting in lieu of Markakis/Godzilla/Wells. I'll give you this round, Rudy Gamble, but this battle is far from over.

Ha. That's just painful seeing stats accumulate on your bench. For a while, I refused to even carry hitters on my bench to avoid that situation.

We can't be adding site members' names (Grey and I) included into the glossary but this is definitely a situation that warrants a nickname.

How about....

Sonavabench! - Exclamation when one sees that a player on their bench has had a monster day. Can also be used as a noun or adjective. "David Murphy just hit 2 HR but I didn't start him today - sonavabench!" "It doesn't matter what I do - my team is a spiteful sonavabench". "Shoot me now - my fantasy team just had a killer sonavabench day."
