I got into a bit of a jam yesterday in a draft (a real one, no mock) and was left with only one 3b. That man was Alex Gordon. He just broke his thumb and is out for a month. I didn't have high hopes to begin with but...

I'd go with LaRoche for the time being. Team looks okay, very strong on pitching. Might be too strong on pitching and why you're choosing between LaRoche and Encarncion. Your hitting is pretty unbalanced. Meaning, you have power guys in one place and your speed are separate. No real players that give you both speed and power.

Yea okay that's what I figured. I just kept waiting on 3b and the 3B I wanted were going right in front of me, so after I while I just said I'd wait till the end. Also there were some surprise picks, like Zimmerman going in the 2nd round, that kind of started a run. I could have had P. Sandoval in the 5th, but I just don't like him that much.

Too early too trade, but you think I should be looking to move some SP for 3b?

On one hand, I wouldn't trade anyone right now. On the other, I wonder what you can get for Greinke. Maybe send out some feelers.

I thought about that, but I just think that he's one of the only "sure things" on my team. I did a ton of mocks and knew I'd be able to get him in the third, which I think is a pretty good move on a guy who can be the #1 overall pitcher. I don't want to give him up. If I'm lopsided on pitching, than I think that giving up my best pitcher would make the rest of them not look so good.

But I see what your saying, nobody is going to move a lot for Hamels or anybody else on my team right now. I think I'll just hold tight and see what I get for now.
