pulls a hammy. Wheeler may be in.
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.

Glad I never dropped Wheeler in my league.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Balfour got the save. He got the last guy out in the 8th then finished the 9th. What does this mean? I picked him up in the RCL, but have Wheeler on most of my other teams. Should I start dropping Wheeler for Balfour. I doubt I can put both on many teams.

" With Dan Wheeler having pitched three straight days, Grant Balfour was called on to close versus the Red Sox on Tuesday and got the final four outs of the game.
Balfour allowed a double to Alex Cora in the ninth, but he struck out the other three batters he faced, all on fastballs out of the strike zone. Balfour has allowed just two runs in 16 2/3 innings since being called up. He's as much of a stranger to the strike zone as ever, but as long as hitters keep chasing, he'll remain successful."

Yeah, I saw Balfour come on and briefly scrambled to vulture, but then I realized it was Wheeler's overworking.

with no solid evidence to support this statement, i think wheeler will get most the SVs. i also agree with your blog that wheeler could get more than percy the rest of the way. lingering hammy and other ailments aside, percival just didn't look all that great lately.

Plus he's old and he had retired already once.

Percival left the game in the 9th today with another hamstring injury. Balfour came in to finish the inning - and promptly gave up the tying run. Wheeler had pitched the 8th. Time to grab Wheeler. Again.

You know, I was going to wait for the report on Percival before picking up Wheeler. But, since you just dropped him, that pretty much guarantees another DL stint. Thanks!
