It could be serious from what I've read. MRI will probably tell the tale.

I'm not a Wang owner but I'm interested in thoughts on what the Yankees will do about it if he's out for an extended period of time (I'm a Sabathia owner  )

I don't see the Yanks gambling on Sabathia b/c the Indians GM won't take a lowball offer. They might let it ride for a month or so and then see what's around by the trade deadline....

I've read in the roundtable that you're pretty high on Hughes for the 2nd half Rudy, but he's not going to come in a be their ace. With names like Mussina, Joba, Rasner, and Hughes to lead a club that's getting hot offensively, why would the Yankees just sit tight and piss away 2008? Guys like Jeter, Abreu, Giambi, and Damon are all getting older. These are the Yankees we're talking about....money is not a problem and expectations are to be in the playoffs every year.

Have you heard of any other serious destinations for CC this year? Cubs? Boston? Philly?

yeah, my roundtable pick of hughes looks dead in the water b/c he probably isn't back until Aguust. thought he'd be back sooner.

if the yanks were all about this year, they would've made the trade for santana. i don't think they're willing to gamble the future on a big name pitcher.

i could be wrong though....

Rotoworld says at least 10 weeks and Will Carroll lists 90 days. I just traded Wang and Swisher last week for Chase Headley, Carlos Gomez and Gavin Floyd. Yes, it's a keeper league.

I don't think milliliter Sabathia is an option because the Indians are competing for their division as well, and may ultimately compete with the Yankees for the Wild Card. They'll call up Jeff Marquez or this year's Cory Lidle/Aaron Small/Shawn Chacon.

Hey, Chris Duncan is a sportswriter too!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
