Rib update: Epic. Three full racks. Home fashioned KC style rub (smoked paprika, brown sugar etc). Home fashioned bbq sauce: black strap molasses, tomato puree, cider vinegar, touch of OJ, honey, mustard, spiced up. 2 hours stacked, indirect heat on the Weber Kettle with a little hickory smoke. ). Made baked beans from scractch (more molasses) and slaw. Daughter went cherry picking with sis in law, brought back a ton of cherries. Wife made two cherry pies. Everything washed down with some Lagunitas Lucky 13 and the Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest.
Now I need to sleep for a week.
