Which 4 SP to start?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Which 4 SP to start?

Postby ticklesack » Mon Jul 28, 2008 2:21 pm

In first place, but need Ks and Ws. Here are my SPs.

Lackey - @ BOS, @ NYY
Halladay - vs TB
Hamels - @ STL
Maine - @FLA, @ HOU
Cain - @ LAD
Oliver Perez - @ FLA

I think Halladay and Hamels are definites for me. I want to start Lackey but his last 3 of 4 starts are terrible, and he's away vs BOS & NYY. Maine is iffy but does get 2 starts which might mean more Ks. I like Cain in LAD and I think Oliver Perez is good @ FLA.

Which 4 SP should I start?

Halladay, Hamels, Lackey, Maine... I really wanted to sit Lackey and insert Cain. I didn't have the heart to do it. I'd really hate to sit Lackey ever, ya know?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

my thoughts exactly. i'm just terrified lackey @BOS and @NYY gets some big runs vs him. i liked cain but SF offense almost means no win for him. i almost wanted to start perez @ FLA. he's been on fire lately.

hamels, halladay and maine were in my starting lineup already, just needed reassurement on maine. wasn't 100% on my 4th starter either (lackey) because of the matchup.
