Verlander

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

I like him for the rest of the year too and but my patience with the Tigers is growing thin, I already own Polanco, Ordonez and now Renteria...might as well add in Verlander. Anyway I like his three starts after the Sox, - Giants, Padres, Rockies assuming the rotation doesn't get messed up, just was concerned about Vazquez and the Sox, but Vazquez has had not so great outings his last three...so guess I take the gamble.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Verlander pitches a complete game 4 hit, 3 K, 0 BB gem.

I am stoked, first Lackey, K-Rod gets the save and Verlander goes 9 and we count CG. What a night.

Was the owner who dropped Verlander drinking heavily? You can't drop someone with his upside on a team with that much upside!

Well, I dropped him initially, and then the guy who's pitching staff sucks worse than mine dropped him after he lost three straight starts. In our goofy format, Pitchers are fairly plentiful, there just aren't any batters 'cause we have 11 teams and 20 active roster spots...long story won't bore you with the details.

Another fine start 5_1/3 innings, 10K's, 5BB's (a little concerning) 2ER's and a WIN!! 4-9 we're on a roll now baby!
