I still think Gio gets the call, so I'm trying to figure out who goes from this list:
Haren
Baker
Galarraga
Sean Gallagher
Garza
Lowe
Billingsley
Lannan
Buchholz
Campillo
Sanchez

I suppose I could drop Beltre; he's on my bench anyway.

Thoughts?

Is that Clay Buchholz? Eh. Or I guess you could drop Beltre if he's unnecessary.

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yeah, sorry Grey, that's Clay Buchholz.

Beltre is just sittin' on my bench, waitin' for the days either Wright or Fielder or Pujols don't play.

Personally, I'd drop Buchholz, but I'm not sure how aggressive your league is (or how deep it it). Can you wait on the call-up before deciding and give Buchholz some more time? If not, then Beltre.

Thanks, Grey!

We're a 12-team league, and the owners, for the most part, are on the ball and stingy! I can't even trade Haren for a big bat! Heck, I tried Fielder and M Young for Reyes, and again for Rollins, with no takers.

I figure if I drop Buchholz, given his performance, no one would pick him up. I can afford to wait for more news on Gio's promotion.

In a related matter, I have CBY in my of, with Beltre on my bench. Both hit lefties quite well. I was thinking of dropping Beltre for a righty-hitting OF, to platoon with Krispie? Thoughts on this strategy?

I think that's a good strategy to employ.

OK, Grey, who's the preferred target for my righty-hitting OF:
- Schumaker
- Rivera
- Willingham
- Kubel
- Adam Jones
- Hermida

or is there someone else out there?????

Hermedia is hot right now. I'd go with him for the time being.
