Halladay or Reyes

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Halladay or Reyes

Postby baller55 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:53 pm

16 team mixed league, standard 5x5, each team keeps 4

I am considering a trade for ss Jose Reyes. I would have to give up sp R. Halladay.

Currently my 4 keepers are:

OF B. Braun
SP R. Halladay
OF J. Hamilton
SP C. Hamels

Obviously, Reyes is a risk to be back and running at full strength but in a 16 team league I just feel that pitching is always much more unpredictable and having an elite ss could propel me to a championship. What do you think? I should also add that I've always been better at drafting pitching so I feel that I can find some solid pitching in the draft, just hate losing a guy as consistantly elite as Halladay and then with him moving to the NL. Hamilton and Hamels should both bounce back in my opinion, however assuming 3 of 4 keepers (Reyes, Hamels, Hamilton) will rebound may be asking too much. Any opinions?

It's fine, but can't you trade Hamels for him?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I would obviously rather trade Hamels, but he won't do that.

Hmm... Then it's a tough call. I'd probably do it.
