Last Keeper (which is less risky?)

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Last Keeper (which is less risky?)

Postby Cain Fan » Wed Jan 27, 2010 10:01 am

I am in a 6x6 10-Team League- OBP R HR RBI SB K and W ERA K SV H/9 WHIP

We keep 8 each year. I am trying to decide whether to keep either McCann or Cain. Below are my 7 keepers:

Utley, Teix, Jeter, Aramis, Kemp, Werth and CC Sabathia.

I also have the option of keeping Pence, Ubaldo, or Peavy.

The other Cs being kept are Mauer Vmart and Wieters. Best available Bats are Butler, D. Lee, Pence, Ethier, McCutchen, Uggla. Best available SP are My drops plus Johnson, Nolasco, Garza, Shields, Weaver, Lackey. I have the 8th and 13th picks in the redraft so you can take that into account as well.

I am trying to decide if it is worth have a balanced set of keepers (6 bats 2 SP) or if I should be considering the dropoff from each. The difference between Cain and say Weaver is much less than McCann and Posada or even other considerable bats that would be available at my pick.

Whats the call Grey, would you prefer the balance of 2 SP going into the draft or having C covered?

I'd keep McCann.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
