I've been rebuilding in a 12 team 5x5 keeper with OBP and QS for the past 2 years and am feeling very good going into next year (I threw in the towel a bit early because the 4 time defending champion was running away with it and I'd rather play to take him down long term than for 2nd place this year).

My 6 keepers are sick but still only just as good as my nemesis, if that.

I have:

Hanley
Reyes
Miggy
Longoria
Bay
Felix

Other guy has:

Braun
Sizemore
Kinsler
Wright
JUpton
Haren

OK long post, sorry. I'm having trouble getting a feel for Bay's Value. Is this a career year? Is he likely near the peak of his prime and due for a regression? Is he likely to stay in Boston? Seems like much of his value comes from his position in that lineup. Is he a top 20 keeper in an OBP league? Top 15?

I'm thinking of dealing him to the other guy for sizemore. I would be the league villain since Sizemore might get shut down and the deal would almost certainly help him to another league title - but I'm trying to do what I can to take this guy down next year and beyond and so far no one has been able to do it.

What's Bay's value in an OBP league and would you prefer Sizemore by a fair margin going into next year?

Thanks for any help.

I'd rather have Bay for next year.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks Grey. Is that because you worry Sizemore wont be healthy? With what he did the past two seasons he looks to me like a top 4 or 5 keeper in an OBP roto 5x5 roto assuming he's in good health.

I cant seem to find any conclusive info on his injury and/or the likely recovery in the event of surgery.

He's probably going to have to have surgery and it seems like a headache to worry about that. He can easily be ready next year and be back, but do you want to risk it? For Bay? Doesn't seem worth it. But it's a coin flip. If you feel strongly, I'd go for Sizemore. He definitely has more upside.
