Better Keeper?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Better Keeper?

Postby ProjectBadass » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:31 am

12-team roto (IP, OBP), 8-keepers.
I already have 7 definite keepers (McCann, Utley, Wright, Alexei, Markakis, Rios, Hamels) and need one more. I am looking towards next year and trying to get 8 really solid keeper because I am in 10th and have no chance of coming back. I was thinking about keeping Kendry Morales, but was offered Choo, Taveras, Thorton, and Johnathan Sanchez for Kendry, Podsednik, Cueto, and Aardsma. Do you think Choo is a better keeper than Kendry or do you think I could get more for what I am giving up?

Choo is better Kendry.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

So would you take the trade in my position or do you think that combination of players may get me someone better?

I'd take the Choo side.

I would too. Choo is going to be the best hitter in that lineup next year, definitely worth considering him as a keeper.
Look at it this way... in the trade, the only 2 players that matter are Kendry and Choo (since youve given up on the season and only care about keepers) ... the others will be dropped.
And its safe to say Choo is a more important part of his lineup, than Kendry is.
My Random Prediction This Year -> JP Arencibia for AL ROTY
