Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

OF Help

Postby linkinpaak » Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:05 pm

I am in a 5x5 10 team league and after enduring months of painful Corey Hart production, or should I say lack there of, I'm trying to take a look at replacing him. We've got Michael Cuddyer, Cody Ross, and Vernon Wells all sitting out on the free agent wire and I'm wondering if any of those 3 are worth dropping Corey Hart for. Sadly we don't have deep benches at all and my rotation is really buttoned up but my bats have far from lived up to expectations so my only real option is to straight up cut him for one of the aforementioned or to hold and keep tearing my hair out. Ryan Ludwick has me doing the same thing in fact. I've tried making some trades but with no luck. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

C-Jorge Posada
1B-Kevin Youkilis
2B-Brandon Phillips
3B-David Wright

DL-Carlos Beltrán
10 team H2H 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex(including QB), 1D, 1K, 25 passing yds = 2pts, 5rush/rec yds = 1pt, all TDs 6pts, PPR

QB - Drew Brees
RB - C.J. Spiller
RB - Vick Ballard
WR - A.J. Green
WR - Julio Jones
WR - Chris Givens
TE - Greg Olsen
Flex - Matthew Stafford
D - Browns
K - Justin Tucker
BN - Darren McFadden

I'd drop Ludwick for Wells.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I forgot to mention that Jay Bruce is also available. Does that change anything?

Nah, not really. You should get in a deeper league next year though.
