Ploayoff Hitting Issues...Help!

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Ploayoff Hitting Issues...Help!

Postby stevelandr » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:58 pm

I love my team and they treated me well for most of the season but the last 3 weeks they have been mediocre and as as result I failed to get the bye for the first week of the playoffs...and am trailing with only 4 days to make my move. NOTE: I'm only allowed a total of 5 moves during the playoffs.....but if I don't win this week what does it matter! Here's the situation:

Player R... H...HR.RBI..SB..BB...K...E... AVG...SLG ... IP ... W L CG SV ..H...HR..BB..K....ERA....Score
ME..... 8... 15...3....7....4...5...10...0... .211 0.366 15.2...1...1...0...5...17...0...4...17... 3.45..... 6
HIM.... 6... 19...3...11...0...8...10...0... .292 0.477 17.2...2...1...0...0...18...0...5...13... 2.55..... 8

Here's his line-up:
C Víctor Martínez
1B Brandon Moss
2B Brandon Phillips
3B Pablo Sandoval
SS José Reyes
OF Adrián González, Hunter Pence, Leonys Martín
Util Will Middlebrooks
BN Michael Young, Chase Utley

MY HITTING
Have more bats on the bench than usual but Eaton is not adding enough value and Young gives good avg and bags but not much else. Both Miggy and Tulo have been killing me the last 2+ weeks and I can't afford to continue to run them out there until they prove they're back in the groove. Marte is back but not really so he's eating up a roster spot.

MI & CI Free Agents Available:
LeMahieu
Infante
Gennett
Dozier (light avg)
Villar (too many errors)
ARod

other positions available:
Span
Pagan
Calhoun
W. Ramos
Helton

So do I drop Eaton and Young for a couple of these guys? Do I keep Marte in case he's good to go later in the playoffs (assuming I make it)?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
