Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Playoff Rotation Next Week

Postby buckfever1974 » Tue Aug 27, 2013 11:08 am

I'm looking to tweak my starting rotation for next week. I can probably wait on making a move but my current rotation for week #1 of a 3 week playoff in H2H points league is as follows:

Wainright - @Cin (Unknown), Vs Pittsburgh (probably Morton)
Lackey - Vs Detroit (Fister), @ NYY (Pettitte)
Liriano - @ MIL (Peralta)
A. Sanchez - @KC (Shields)
Latos - Vs LAD (Capuano)

To me, my ace pitchers are up against the top teams. Bench currently includes Moore who if he started on Spet 3 would get two starts @LAA, @SEA

Bench also includes:
Cobb @ LAA (Weaver), Estrada @CHC (Rusin), Garza @LAA (Wilson), Griffen Vs HOU (Peacock) & Wood @PHI (Kendrick), Beachy - DL, Cain - DL

I wanted to possibly pick up Charlie Morton to stream and drop Beachy if it turns out he is done for the season and sit Latos @ LAD or Sanchez @ KC fs Shields. I would think starting Morton @ MIL (Gorzellany) and backing myself up with Morton against Wainright would provide some insurance. Am I overthinking it. Need the most points possible now but having difficulty balancing the risks.

I find it hard to justify putting Moore in my line-up coming off the injury and probably on a pitch count although the match-ups aren't bad.
H2H Points League

SP - Sale, Scherzer, Richards, Liriano, Lynn
RP - Familia

Bench SPs - T. Ross, Hammel, T. Walker, Ed. Rodriguez, Graveman & D. Fister

I'd start Latos, I wouldn't start Morton and I'd lose Beachy

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
