Esmil Rogers

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Esmil Rogers

Postby buckfever1974 » Thu Jun 20, 2013 11:09 am

I am desimated by injuries and poor play the last couple weeks with Tulo, Cobb, & A. Sanchez. I already had Utley and Beachy on my two DL spots. I have an 8 player bench but need to maximize my streaming as it is a H2H points league.

With that said, Rogers, who is RP eligible has been looking good, gets 2 start next week and considering my only other 2 start option is Matt Moore (god help me) I could use some help. Incidentally, Rogers pitches agains @ TB (Hellickson) and @ BOS (Doubront).

I currently have Zobrist and Rutledge at the two middle infield spots. I was thinking of two options.

1) Put Tulo on the DL, take Utley off and drop Rutledge to make room.
2) Drop Beachy and DL Tulo. I liked Beachy's potential but if he is having set-backs now, how much can I afford to take a chance. Dropping Beachy gives me the chance to see if Rutledge can make something of himself a little longer and provide insurance for the middle infield.

Thoughts?
