Does anyone think he'll lose at bats this week with Freeman's return? I'd love to use him in Colorado. I know it's "set-it-and-forget-it" catcher, but it's H2H points so how do you rank these guys this week?

Gattis (@COL, @DET)
Arencibia (@BAL, @NYY)
Jesus Montero (@HOU, LAA)

Thanks

Gattis is still going to be "set it and forget it" as long as McCann is still out. Freeman's return won't have a huge impact (though it could cost him a start here and there).

I'd still rank him just ahead of those 2.
Never been a Montero fan, and even if he weren't ice cold at the moment, he's still a totally replaceable catcher (20HR power that'll kill your OBP/AVG is very easy to find among C's).

That's also why I'd take him over JP, who's obviously on fire. There wouldn't be anything wrong with picking JP over Gattis, but I still lean towards chasing the upside of Gattis. JP can get you 20 HRs with terrible on-base skills. Gattis has a shot to match those power numbers with a solid OBP/AVG.

Nice analysis, thanks. @ hitter's parks in Baltimore and New York is tempting for all Toronto hitters tho. Dickey is scheduled to go on Tues and Sun this week. Does Arencibia still sit when he pitches?
