Need to pick up a 2B

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Need to pick up a 2B

Postby kevo252 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 2:25 pm

Two part question.

1) Who do I pick up in the wake of Hill going to the DL?

E. Cabrera

Leaning towards E. Cabrera as my team could use some SB.

2) Who do I drop?

Basically debating between Hammel and Boggs.

My only qualms with dropping Boggs is that the STL closer situation is still a bit unsettled. I have invested in that position so long, I would hate if something crazy happened and Boggs somehow kept the job.

If I drop Hammel, I am guessing I can find another SP down the line. He is my seventh best SP in any event. I want to hold all of the STL RP until the end of the week where I expect to have a better idea as to what exactly is going on there. I can drop Boggs then (and hope to be able to dropp Motte in early May).

Sounds like you have made a decision then. Hammel and Cabrera.
