Lineup changes?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Lineup changes?

Postby tooms » Mon May 25, 2009 7:42 am

My current lineup going into this week is in my sig. Should I sit some of my SP to get Downs into my lineup? The Jays are facing BAL and BOS this week and I just don't see Downs getting the opportunities. I am second in my league in saves and could afford to sit him this week, especially since I have only one two start pitcher and am trying to squeeze more starts in this week, but then again I could easily see starting Downs over Cook or Duke.

Should I play Lewis over Reimold? Hernandez over Baker? Burriss over the ailing Hardy?

Minors:
SS: Dee Gordon
SP: Brad Peacock
SP: Henderson Alvarez

Start Downs over Cook, Lewis over Reimold, Ramon over Baker, Burriss.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Downs over Cook makes sense. Lewis over Reimold makes sense too, since Reimold would be facing 3 lefties this week in addition to Halladay and Verlander. Burriss is out of the picture right now... But why Ramon over Baker? Baker faces 5 righties this week and has two days off... he even has good numbers against Moyer... and he gets to play some games in Philly. I know its apples to apples since they're probably going to do similarly, but I like Baker this week.

Or I could start Parra over Lewis??

Do you think its worth starting Hawkins this week? Should I just keep playing him until he's spent?

Then start Baker, it is apples and apples. Start Hawkins.
