Byrnes vs. Willingham

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Byrnes vs. Willingham

Postby mjg » Fri Jun 20, 2008 5:47 am

Only have room on the roster for one of them. In the past few weeks I've picked up several of your "Buys", Grey. Cano, Headley, Tulowitski, Parra, and even one you warned against in Mussina.

So whats the verdict, do I pick up Byrnes or Willingham? Anyone feel free to chime in on this one.

Side note.....I cannot get ANYONE to bite on Theriot for ANY sort of pitching.....I'm about to straight up drop him to pick up another pitcher.

I think it is really close even though Byrnes was rated much higher before the season. But he was over rated. I might be alone here but I lean towards Willingham. He was batting better before either of them got hurt. Florida has been the better offensive team so far. So he is likely to see better pitches. Neither is a sure thing because both men's injuries could bother them all year.
