Last keeper - Niese or Wainwright

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Last keeper - Niese or Wainwright

Postby TimmyOToole » Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:22 am

AL+NL, 5x5, H2H, $260 budget, 12 owners, keeper, keep up to seven.

I am waffling on my last keeper:

Adam Wainwright $12
Jon Niese $1

Thanks!

Wainwright. Tough to cut Niese at $1 but Wainwright has ace stuff and has been an Ace prior to the injury. I would pay that cheap of a price tag for a guy who can be a top 5 SP.

Thanks Mauddib - but you bring up an interesting point. It would be tough to drop Niese - but can I justify keeping him at that tasty $1 salary?

Keep seven:

Yadier $8
Rios $2
Angel Pagan $2
Gardner $2
Jim Johnson $1
Wilhelmsen $2
Niese $1
Wainwright $12
Ian Desmond $6

I had Desmond, Yadier, Rios, Pagan, Gardner, Johnson, and a toss up between Wainwright and Niese. Am I wrong? In my mind, Rios, Pagan, and Gardner are the same player, roughly, but at $2 apiece, hard to jettison.

Thanks!

I would cut either Pagan, or Gardner, for Niese. Definitely keep Wainwright.
