Hola, Grey and company!

I've been debating this question since the end of the season last year and I'm still stuck without an answer with ten days left before the keeper deadline.

I know you've got Hanley ranked just ahead of Castro in SS rankings and in the overall rankings but they're right next to each other either way. Hanley's a solid bet for a little bit more power than Castro along with more runs/RBI but Castro is probably going to have better speed and BA. Hanley's got the flexibility of playing 3B and SS in Yahoo! leagues but Castro is younger and hasn't been in the middle of a two year slump...

I'm currently keeping Ryan Braun, Mike Trout, and Clayton Kershaw for sure. I'm 100% confident on the three of them.

I need to choose one more keeper... Do I choose the former MVP caliber Hanley, the rising star(lin) Castro, or should I eschew all positional considerations and keep Jay Bruce, going into the draft with three OF already?

I think I am going to lean towards Castro. Hanley and Castro are pretty close IMO but since this is a keeper Castro gets a bump. I think he has the ability to be a top 3 SS over the next number of years where Hanley has already peaked .

Yeah, that's the main argument for Castro; he should be trending up for years to come while Hanley has obviously been going in the other direction. My only fear is what happens if Hanley suddenly remembers how to hit and goes 25/25 with a .300 average? If I keep him that definitely won't happen, but if I don't keep him it might!

I'm glad to hear someone else say Castro, though. I like Castro a lot and I didn't want to make a biased choice.
