well, I was set to keep Grandy for the final year of his contract at $6. Now he's out 10 weeks with a fractured forearm. Leaving aside for a second who I may or may not keep in his place, is he still a pretty good value at $6? Or would you rather just have an open position and save the cash for the auction?

I think I would save the cash. It is only one year and wrist injuries can sap power. I just wouldn't want to worry about it.
