My 10 team roto keeper league had a tie in 2010 & 2012. We had no tiebreak rule in place so we in essence had 5 winners in 3 seasons. This offseason the league voted to have a tiebreaker and we' re kicking around ideas. The 24 th player on each team can be usead as either a pitcher or a utility batter. It's kind of cool as it adds another layer of strategy. Also, we only get 30 adds for the season.

We've come up with 2 possibilities:

1) Adding the total of 1 hitting and 1 pitching category (non ratio). This takes into account the floating player.
2) Adds remaining

I like option 1 btw.

Any thoughts or other ideas?

for both of my leagues, the standings by category are used to break any ties. The team that finished in 1st place in the most categories would win; if still tied; the team that finished in 2nd place in the most categories.

We had a tie last year. In the tie breaker, Team A finished 1st in BA and K, Team B in ERA and WHIP. Team A finished 2nd in HR, and Team B in BA and SB, so Team B won.
