Keeper advice

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Keeper advice

Postby yell0wHAMMER » Thu Jan 24, 2013 7:09 pm

Hey guys,

6 keepers - 12 team league 5x5

Definitely keeping: Kemp, Heyward, Longoria, Bruce

Kind of need help with the final 2 among: Chapman, Jennings, Wainwright, Gallardo, Mccann

Suggestions?

TIA

I would keep Gallardo and Wainwright. Not a believer in keeping catchers and while I am OK with Jennings I can't see keeping him over either of these guys. I also don't like keeping pitchers either but these are your two best options.

I thought about Chapman but I am worried that he will be on an innings limit this season which will drive down his value. I still want to see him pitch as a starter as well. Not always a seemless transition to go from the bullpen to starting. But he does big time stuff if all that goes perfectly.

I bank on Aroldis and take a gamble with his upside. He may be limited this year, but if he pans out as a starter you won't be able to touch him next year unless you want to reach.

My humble opinion:

Chapman
Wainwright or Jennings. (You know how your league values pitchers vs young OF)
