One of my leagues is a small 6 man league. I have the # 1 overall pick so I go 1-12,13. I know grey doesn't have strasburg in the top 20 but would anyone recommend going Cabrera then another stud hitter at 12 and pitcher @ 13. Or would you get 3stud hitters? This is a pts league not toto

All hitters. I am not sure I would draft a SP until my lineup was completely filled. In such a shallow league, SP should be so plentiful on the WW that I would rather get the best hitters I could find and then stream pitchers like crazy. Maybe your league has some rules that keep streaming to a minimum but that wouldn't change the draft strategy.

No if one of the big names are still around late in the draft then maybe I pull a trigger to get Kershaw or Verlander. But that is going to rely on who else is around at that point.
