Hey Razzballers, who have never led me astray- I'm getting pumped for April already, and I'm looking to set my keepers early in the hopes that some of our league mates want some off-season trade talk.
Here's my conundrum - We keep 4 hitters and 4 pitchers in a 12-team mixed H2H catagories league. The usual 5 stats count (avg., R, RBI, SB, HR), and we play 4 OF slots with a util. guy added to the mix.
My first two keepers are no-brainers: Kemp and the Dread Pirate. My next two are a toss up really. I'm planning on dropping Teixeira and keeping Billy Butler. Smart?
The remaining pool to choose from would be: Alex Gordon Choo Machado
I can keep one of those guys if I keep Butler (or Teixeira). Who would you pick?
From the pitching side, the usual 5 catagories (K, W, ERA, WHIP, SV) apply.
My main two are Gio and the Mad Bumgarner. Depending on where Lohse ends up, he'll probably be my third. The fourth keeper falls to: Jarrod Parker Jason Hammel Bronson Arroyo Chris Tillman
Who ya got Razzer's? Thanks for your help! -Fats

Butler, Choo to Kemp and Dread Pirate...
Gio, Bum, Parker and Tillman... No Lohse...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is. Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I agree with Grey. Gordon is tempting but with Choo in a new ballpark, I like him more. Also don't like Lohse. Cardinal pitchers don't fair as well when they leave. Tillman isn't a great keeper but better than the other guys.
