I'm in the playoff hunt be I feel like I'm also teetering on the line of falling out of the race with a few weeks to go and ready to make some risky moves in order to put myself in the best position. Hoping someone can provide some thoughts on adding / dropping some players in order to do so. Here's my current lineup and here are some nice available FA that I could swap in for categories like R, RBIs, HR and SBs.... I'm usually pretty solid in pitching categories, but injuries in my position players have hurt me over the last month.
C- Josh Donaldson
C- Chris Iannetta
IB- Anthony Rizzo
2B- Ian Kinsler
3B- Miguel Cabrera
SS- Alcides Escobar
CI- Tyler Colvin
MI- Marco Scutaro
OF- Curtis Granderson
OF- Josh Willingham
OF- Justin Ruggiano
OF- Michael Morse
OF- Norichika Aoki
DH- Álex Rodríguez
BENCH
Nick Swisher
DL
Will Middlebrooks
J.P. Arencibia
Mike Napoli
Attractive FA- Mark Reynolds, John Mayberry Jr, Carlos Quentin, Ichiro, Franklin Gutiérrez...
It's a keeper league and I'm reluctant on dropping guys like Rizzo & Willingham who I have at really nice draft spots. My marginal guys I'm thinking of dropping for players like Reynolds & Mayberry are Rodriguez, Swisher, Colvin or Morse. Reynolds is a roll of the dice and not sure what to expect out of an aging Rodriguez over the next 3-4 weeks. Iannetta and Donaldson are filling in OK at C, but once Arencibia and Napoli come off I will have to drop 2 of my C players... likely Napoli with his fickle health and Donaldson...
Would like some guidance and other thoughts here as I need to pick up some better numbers in categories like R, RBIs, SBs and HRs... With 3-4 weeks left I'm leaning toward picking up some hot bats and riding them for the stretch...

I wouldn't drop guys like Rizzo and Willingham, they're better than the waivers... I'd lose Swisher for Reynolds...

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

What about Rodriguez for Mayberry... also have Gregerson who is contributing a few saves but I know his time is limited with Street coming back soon... Thoughts on either of those guys?

I'd hold both of those guys unless you really don't need saves, then lose Gregerson....
